Upon landing in NYC we dropped our bags at our hotel “The Row” and were very excited to see Shake Shack was right across the road. Longer lines at this outlet but they go fast and are very organised. Worth the wait.

The iconic Cafe Du Monde, i have seen in on a few movies and shows, mainly “Chef” and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, i was overly keen to try. Now there is a few in New Orleans around 6!! But the original is this one, French Market.

We had a girly brunch @ Bare Naked, a cute little cafe with the most amazing açai bowls.

Picked this place as it looks to be an institution of NOLA, menu is quite extensive. Po’Boy’s are delicious, quality soft roll, perfectly fried seafood and fresh salad…

Located upstairs of The Cannery in Rosebery is this new hidden gem.

After our first night out in Austin around 3am, on 6th ave, we saw a long line and it wasn’t for a bar, it was for DOUGHNUTS!! We had to see what all the fuss was about…

I don’t know what we were looking for in Austin, but this wasn’t it. Somewhere called the Salty Sow would be a vibe, a fun, texas vibe.

I’ve always heard of Chick-fil-a and always have wanted to try it, then when i got there i was like oh shit what do i get? They are more famous for the name rather than particular dishes…

The quintenstial essential for a Texas roadtrip! These addictive little nuggets are  caramel-coated corn pops. Salty sweet goodness. DANGER: highly addictive

I heard you can’t go to Texas and not have a slice of Pecan Pie! I read “The 30 Best Things to Eat in Dallas Before You Die” and couldnt fit in all 30 but i selected a slice of pie and squeezed it in the itinerary as “breakfast”. 

We stayed in the Marriott Marquis Houston, and I already had Xochi on the list, when I came downstairs to go out for dinner Xochi was there!! 

I was worried about the lineup for this so we went pretty early for dinner around 6pm. Normal 10-15min wait to lineup.
