I think we picked this place because I wanted crawfish (turns out it wasn’t in season), this was an old school restaurant with a lot of brown timber varnished furniture. We saw a customer at the hostess stand strapped with a gun!!!!! Didn’t realise in Louisiana you can just have a gun in a holster. So rare for us to see and we couldn’t stop staring haha.

FRESH FISH OF THE DAY: Grilled Salmon with Crawfish Tails - Market Price served with broccoli and parmesan with a side of potatoes boiled in crawfish water!! This was so cool and the potatoes seriously tasted salty and crawfishy.

Mel has fried shrimp and they looked so heavily fried I didn’t even try them.
