MANGIASTI?

Mangiasti?

📍 Roseville Chase

👀 I was invited by fellow foodie @wheredoieatpete to this special hidden gem! Parking available behind the restaurant. It’s located along Warringah rd near Forestville. The meaning of “Mangiasti” means have you eaten? Because if you haven’t they will feed you!! Mangiasti offers southern Italian cuisine, think bold flavors of tomato, fine olive oil, and the fragrance of herbs and spices that have come to define Italian cuisine: oregano, basil, and citruses.

💥 Exposed concrete walls, huge pizza oven, long bar and a long wall of seating. Also a lot of greenery brings the freshness to the space.

💁🏼‍♀️ The service was incredible, they made you feel like part of the family!

🍷 Plenty of beer and wine, Italian spirits including shots of limoncello!

🍴 Croquette di feta with sesame seeds, honey and green apple | $24.9 - this dish was really pleasantly good!!

Linguine al Cartoccio - fresh W.A. scampi and fresh local mixed seafood baked in a parcel | $39.9 - this was a complete standout and I wish I had it more than once, it was truly unbelievable. They bring it over and open it at your table so the aromas get you so excited. The seafood is so fresh and I can’t speak more highly about this dish.

Semifreddo Hazelnut| $16.9 - such a nice way to end our meal, tasted like a frozen Ferrero rocher

I would go back for the linguine every single time!!

✨ Unfortunately I think Mangiasti shut down and Farina Pizzeria took their place and they don’t have the amazing pasta on the menu :(
