My boyfriend’s family favourite is The Aztec in Coolangatta 📍, a vibrant Mexican restaurant with a beachfront location.

💥 When you walk in, you’re immediately hit with the festive vibe—bright, colorful decor, neon lights, and a lively atmosphere. It feels like you’ve been transported to a fun, casual spot in Mexico

🍷🍸 A round of margaritas for fam. The drinks menu was impressive, featuring everything from Mexican beers to vibrant cocktails and traditional soft drinks like Jarritos.

🍴 I went all in on the nachos $15 for small or $22 for Large - on a bed of frijoles surrounded by triangles of toasted tortilla chips smothered with cheese, drenched with delicious salsa and garnished with sour cream, guacamole and shallots. Add chicken or beef for an extra $4 / $5.

We also had the crowd pleasing Combination Dip V 22 Your choice of any 3 dips with tortilla corn chips (salsa, queso, guacamole, beans or chilli con carne).

✨ All in all, The Aztec hit the spot with its mix of fun, flavor, and friendly vibes.
