Delisia Panino & Espresso

📍 Delisia, Forest Lodge
👀 I’ve heard a lot of buzz about Delisia, and after trying it for myself, I can see why. It’s tucked away in Forest Lodge, a little bit in the middle of nowhere, but absolutely worth the visit. Even though it was packed when I got there, I could tell this place was a local favorite.

💥 The vibe? Bustling, with a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s one of those spots where you can tell the regulars know the staff by name, and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. The space itself is modern with just the right amount of rustic charm – think wood finishes, plenty of natural light, and an open kitchen that lets you peek at the action.

💁🏼‍♀️ Despite being busy, the staff was on point – friendly, efficient and busy. I had to wait about 15 minutes for my sandwich, but it was clear they were working hard to keep things flowing smoothly, and that wait was worth every second.

🍽 Now let’s talk about the sandwich. I went for the Giovanni: salami, pecorino spread, honey, rocket, and truffle oil. To say I was obsessed is an understatement. That combo of salty, sweet, and savory had me hooked from the first bite. Perfectly portioned! The salami was perfectly crispy, the pecorino spread added a creamy richness, and the honey? that brought everything together. The rocket gave it that fresh kick, and the truffle oil? Just enough to elevate the whole thing without overpowering. Honestly, I kept thinking about it long after the last bite.

🍴 Next time, i’m in the area ill come back for another sandwich!

✨ All in all, Delisia is totally worth the wait. It’s busy for a reason – the food is phenomenal, the vibe is right, and it’s the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a sandwich. I’ll be back soon!
