The day at Alila

We spent majority of the day at the Alila Ubud, starting with breakfast then a room inspection followed up with a cooking class then ice cream.

For breakfast was a bruschetta and a Rendang Sapi Braised beef rump in Sumatran paste, coconut milk, potato, fried shallot.

Starting the cooking class journey we visited a local traditional market nearby and picked up the perfect ingredients required for the dish. We watched the chef cook the traditional Balinese dishes guided in the private Organic Garden. It was such a cool experience walking through the garden and learning about Balinese culture.

We finished up with scoop of the day tasing ice cream yum!

Such a beautiful resort, secluded, fantastic food options in house, gorgeous spa. Would stay here in a heartbeat.
