I picked one of the nicest restaurants of the Disney hotels. They have a free shuttle in between hotels so I went straight from the park to the Disneyland hotel. Walking into the Crystal Lotus was so pretty!! I didn’t make a reservation but it was just me so I took my chances.
Crystal Lotus is a tour of the 4 major culinary regions of China—Sichuan, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. It felt newly renovated at the time, very traditional Chinese restaurant vibes but with a modern twist.
I created my own barbecue platter for $50AUD with Roasted goose with lotus seeds and crispy suckling pig with sweet sauce. I also ordered an entree of a big prawn with truffled scrambled eggs. These two dishes were SO good. The goose was my absolute favourite. So light and thin and flavourful.
The service here was SO good. They knew I was dining by myself so kept me company. Even offered to take my photo they are so sweet. I highly recommend a visit her, maybe during dim sum lunch for the cute Disney baos.
