Long Chim
Long Chim
📍 Sydney CBD
👀 Had been on the list for ages and the foodies wanted to go so we did a little group dining date. Long Chim means “come and try” – and their menus propose just that – a balanced and generous selection of the best dishes they can cook. Described as “The best Thai food in Sydney”.
💥 Inside the Long Chim lair is a lot of aqua, murals x with industrial, exposed bricks - such a vibe!
💁🏼♀️ You can tell how good it is by its longevity, Chef David Thompson is definitely doing something right, especially with the carefully curated feed me menus.
🧋 Thai milk tea which didn’t really go with savoury food but I love asian milk teas! Their drink lists have cocktails, mocktails, beer, cider and a whole page of wines to choose from.
🍴 We did the Maa Long Chim Feed Me Menu
Entrees:
Chicken & Tapioca Dumpling (Coriander, Fried Garlic) these were cool even with the texture
Vegetable Spring Roll (fresh glass noodles, shiitake mushrooms)

Main dishes:
Sour Orange Curry Of Prawn (Choy Sum Tomatoes)
Stir Fried Chinese Broccoli (Oyster Sauce)
Som Tum (spicy green papaya, peanuts, dried prawn)
Jasmine Rice
Steamed Fish From The Market (Spring Onion, Pickled Plums) - this was probably my fav, very delicious
Soft Shell Crab Prik King (Kaffir Lime, Snake Beans, Grachai, Red Chilli)
Green Curry Of Chicken (Basil Eggplant, Coconut Cream) (additional dish)
Desserts:
Thai Tea Ice Cream (Pistachio Coconut Jelly)
