Rustic-chic breakfast cafe with warm vibe
The Hardware Société
📍 Melbourne
👀 Down an alleyway or two sits Hardware Société, it’s a little hard to find! I took a group of people here, we sat at a high table all together.
Opened in 2009, what started as a small 35 seat café now operates in three countries including France and Spain. Their mission is to redefine what breakfast and brunch can be ala “No Eggs on Toast”.
💥 Rustic-chic with a warm vibe, exposed brick with warm hues and forest greens.
☕️ My cap was delicious and decorated with the iconic “s”.
The mix of food was great, so many options. We all ordered a bit of everything, French toast, sago and more baked eggs.
I had the baked eggs scallop version, at first I was like hmm scallops for brekkie? But it worked!! It also had potato and leek in it, delicious.
I’d come back and do the baked eggs again or the LOBSTER & PRAWN ROLL.
✨ A Melbourne institution that is consistently amazing and worth the wait!
