👀 All over socials Melbourne’s Mr Miyagi was returning to Messina for their 2nd pop up together.

Mr Miyagi is known for deliciously fun Japanese share food and innovative fusion food, like nori tacos, miyagi fried chicken (MFC) and schnitty baos.

We arrived on the first day at around 6pm, they were setup in the carpark serving their very tasty, one-off event menu:

🍴Miyagi Fried Chicken

MFC chicken pieces, ramen noodles, creamy spicy Japanese mayo, edamame, golden fried shallots, topped with tempura crumble and served in an edible waffle basket. - the chicken was beautiful, not too spicy and perfectly crispy.

Juicy Pounded Pork

Slow cooked Murray Valley Pork, ramen noodles, Japanese mayo, edamame, black bean, chilli, toasted sesame, topped with ramen spiced popcorn and served in an edible waffle basket. - loved the popcorn on top!

Truffled Wasabi Fries

Golden fries, ramen seasoning, truffle mayo, wasabi sesame furikake. - the fries were pretty chunky for fries, seasoning was plentiful and delicious.
