The prettiest tuna in Sydney

Sokyo

The Star, Sydney

Dinner with mum

I surprised mum with a visit to channel ten studios to be in the audience for The Living Room. We arrived super early with enough time for a cheeky drink, so being in Pyrmont we walked to the Star and went to Sokyo.

It was dark, the wall art is awesome, sexy vibes, perfect for date or sushi girls night.

We started with a drink, I asked for something sweet and was recommended “The Hipster” with Quinoa vodka, goji, aloe vera and cranberry ($20), it was sooo good!!

We returned for dinner after “The Living Room”, the sushi was fresh, the tuna was the highlight, those skewers yummy!

What to order;

  • Maguro Tataki $29; seared tuna, carbonized leek aioli, pickled mushrooms, asparagus, smoked ponzu

  • Beef skewers $12; wagyu tri-tip, caramelised shallots, teriyaki BBQ
