We walked to potato head this time and the walk and driveway is so long especially in the heat. I would recommend taking a taxi. I had visited before with work, i think its a totally different experience between lunch and dinner. Lunch here is more chill and based around the pool where as dinner is busy and more bar buzz.
This open air restaurant is huge, perfect for a lunch or a early dinner to watch the sunset. There’s a pool there with a bar so it’s very beach club vibes. You can hire a cabana lounge with a minimum spend for food or drink.
Balinese service is great, sometimes when it is quiet legit 5 waitresses will just stare at you while you eat and wait on you hand and foot which is weird but nice. Lunch menu is great for small snacks to share. We got a bottled water which they kept automatically getting a new one when we ran out. It was a nasty surprise when we got the bill and worked out they were around $10 a bottle! We were so thirsty from the heat we needed it.
Mahi mahi ceviche marinated with arak, coconut, coriander and chilli 90k - perfect for a hot Bali day
Papua mangrove soft shell crab, steam buns, cucumber, wasabi, spring onion and coriander 140k - these were amazing!
