What a delicious mess

Punk Princess of Pastry: Anna’s Mess

@ Shangri-La Hotel Sydney

I was on dessert duty for family dinner, i had a day off work and took this duty very seriously. I was intrigued with this dessert, since i saw it on Masterchef last week. The creative dessert is a decadent twist on the traditional English Eton’s Mess and is created using moulded white chocolate, pastry crème, chocolate crunch, fresh berries and meringue kisses. I called the Shang beforehand and they confirmed they had some large (serves 4) $40 left, they confirmed yes but can’t guarantee they will last. It was 2pm on a Tuesday when i arrived, and there were plenty left. Loved smashing that dessert; best tastes was the coulee it tasted like jam it was beautiful, the mascarpone cream with pop rocks, with the white chocolate was seriously amazing.
